my Empire is a non-stop, live video internet stream, which shows my photovoltaic system on the roof of the Staedelschule art academy in Frankfurt. The projection covers the complete wall and gives the illusion to offer a direct view to the city.
The photovoltaic system is planned to operate for the next 25 years.
The titel links to the Empire film by Andy Warhol and refers to the notion of the term „Empire“ as in the book with the same name by Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri from 2000.
